We believe that women should be cherished. Lota is a women focused organization dedicated to providing young ladies and women with the tools needed to stand up, be self sufficient, and support themselves and their family. We offer the positivity that some may have lacked in their life and show them how to insert that same positivity into their own lives, and the lives of others.

So our lotus blossom symbolizes each woman that enters our program. It stands for their delicacy and strength while emphasizing on their finish...not their start. Despite some of their challenges, strongholds, and experiences, they will blossom into beautiful flowers that can withstand the ripples and waves that life sends their way with grace...and beauty inside and out!

Ask yourself a few questions:
-Do you have goals, dreams, or just see yourself doing something positive and just don't know how to get there?
-Are you pregnant or a young mother that doesn't have a lot of support? Or do you have support, but they don't really know what to do to get you on your feet?
-Have you ever dropped out of school or are currently enrolled in an alternative school?
-Do you feel that you and/or your family have always struggled and you're just ready to make and see a change?
-Do you want to give something more to your baby or children?
-Are you pregnant and in foster care/group home/shelter/homeless?
-Do you sometimes feel people are intentionally trying to upset you, do something to you, or get you into trouble?
